This image is one of my favs that you have posted so far this year. Everything - from the smoothness of the sand to the way the surfer is sitting - comes together nicely.
This is lovely! I think most people would have instinctively put the surfer on the lower third, with the top 2/3 being water and crashing waves... but leaving the sand in the foreground makes this a much calmer shot and works well with the contemplative surfer. Wonderful! :)
